THE IMPORTANCE OF PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH IN THE FIELD OF ECONOMICS
Main Article Content
Аннотация:
Teaching English to students in the field of economics requires effective methods that help learners develop both language proficiency and professional communication skills. Practical activities play a crucial role in this process because they allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-life situations. Activities such as case studies, role-plays, presentations, business simulations, and group discussions help students improve their speaking, writing, listening, and analytical abilities. Through these methods, learners become more confident in using economic terminology and communicating in professional contexts. Practical tasks also increase students’ motivation and engagement, making the learning process more interactive and meaningful. Moreover, such activities encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills that are essential for future economists and business professionals. Integrating practical activities into English language teaching not only strengthens linguistic competence but also prepares students for real-world economic communication. Therefore, practical approaches are an important component of modern English teaching in economics education.
