Abstract

The article discusses the nomination of criminal concepts in English and Uzbek languages considering differences semantic differences of the terms. The author focuses on semantic relationship of legal terms in one paradigm and identify lexical gaps in the languages. Significantly, the paper analyzes the reasons for different semantic properties of the terms which denote the same concept in two languages.
