Abstract

This article discusses the role of industry in society and its significance in economic development. Industry unites the working class, which is the driving force of society, and grows alongside technological progress. The article highlights the development of heavy industry, light industry, and the food industry sectors, as well as the organization of material and technical support and the efficient use of resources in enterprises. Additionally, the current state of Uzbekistan’s industry and the results of implementing modern production technologies are examined.
