SMART CITY CONCEPT AS A NEW STAGE OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT

This article examines the main concepts of the "smart city" as a means of ensuring the sustainable growth and further development of cities, which leads to the creation of a qualitatively new standard of living of the population. The structure of the "smart city", its most important and indispensable elements, their functions are presented and described in the article. The article presents examples of successful implementation of the concept in Singapore, Zurich and Oslo, which are leaders in international rankings.
