Abstract

This article talks about the branch of lexicology of linguistics and lexical meaning and its types, types of transfer of meaning such as metaphor, metonymy, synecdoche and function, types of words according to their semantic relationship (synonym , antonym, homonym and paronym) are analyzed based on some examples from Iqbal Mirza's novel "Bonu".
