The problem of developing professional competence is still at the center of scientific work On this basis, it is advisable to identify the specific professional competences of teachers of technology, who work with a special approach in the conditions of modern education, and study the methods of their development. This article presents the professional competencies of future technology educators and the main ways and effective methods of developing them. It also analyzes the level of professional training required from the teacher of technology in the modern educational process, innovative approaches.
