This article discusses the clinical application and pharmacological properties of Advantan® (0.1% methylprednisolone aceponate) ointment in dermatological diseases. As a topical glucocorticosteroid, it exhibits anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, and immunosuppressive effects. Advantan is effective in atopic dermatitis, eczema, contact dermatitis, and allergic dermatoses. Clinical studies have demonstrated its high efficacy and relative safety. When applied topically, systemic absorption is minimal, ensuring good outcomes in both children and adults during short-term treatment.
