Abstract

This article analyzes the significance and effectiveness of alternative methods in assessing students' foreign language skills at the B1 level. Unlike traditional assessment methods in foreign language learning, alternative methods play an important role in developing students' social and creative abilities. The article shows the advantages of methods such as assessment through communication, creative writing, and observation analysis, and emphasizes the need to take into account the specific characteristics of students. The article also provides information about the problems and limitations arising from the use of alternative assessment methods. Overall, this article contains new approaches and ideas aimed at improving the process of teaching a foreign language to B1 students.
