Abstract

Fairy tales, like myths and legends, originated in antiquity among folk oral works. Since ancient times, the oral works of this people reflect the events of a particular period. Fairy tales of all peoples tell about the traditions, culture and history of the people. Karakalpak and English folk tales also contain the above-mentioned events and everyday episodes. Although there are peoples who speak one Turkic and one Germanic language, these peoples have similarities in terms of their common content in folklore, as well as national characteristics. The language, folklore, written literature, the art of words, history, culture of these peoples have their own characteristics. There is a need for in-depth study of these issues.
