This article briefly examines issues related to the protection of intellectual property. Legal protection of intellectual property is considered a crucial condition for the development of the economy and for ensuring the market competitiveness of rights holders. It should be noted that intellectual property is a key means of safeguarding intellectual, inventive, and innovative achievements. Today, in the Republic of Uzbekistan, ensuring legal protection of intellectual property is one of the important directions aimed at achieving stable development of economic sectors and creating a favorable business climate for attracting foreign investment.
