This article focuses on the practical importance of metrology, standardization and certification, which is taught in military higher educational institutions. In particular, it is important to reveal the place of metrology, standardization and certification in the field, to apply standard requirements and scientific achievements to the advanced aspects of the modern construction industry, which is currently developing rapidly, to thoroughly study the aspects of modern foreign advanced practices related to science and the field, to reveal the importance and essence of modern metrological measuring instruments in the field, to familiarize yourself with the rules of procedure of the standardization and certification system and relevant regulatory documents.
