HISTORICAL AND THEORETICAL VIEWS IN INSURANCE

Insurance in the Republic of Uzbekistan is based on historical experience and legal framework, that is, on November 23, 2021, a new version of the law "On Insurance Activity" was adopted (instead of the previously adopted on April 5, 2002). The Law consists of 10 chapters and 72 articles. The law also introduces concepts such as cross-border insurance, reinsurance and other norms. According to Article 38, insurers (reinsurers) are created in the form of Joint-stock companies. Other participants of the insurance market, which are legal entities, are created in other forms of ownership provided for by other legislative acts.
