Abstract:

The main complications arising during the treatment of intra-articular fractures, their frequency, causes, and prevention methods were studied. An analysis of clinical cases revealed that the most common complications are infections, nonunion, arthrofibrosis, and post-traumatic arthrosis. Modern preventive approaches are proposed, including optimal choice of fixation method, early functional therapy, and infection prevention. The obtained results allow for improved treatment outcomes and a reduction in the incidence of postoperative complications.
