This article analyzes the national liberation struggle against Soviet rule in Turkestan between 1918 and 1920, with a particular focus on the military and strategic operations led by Madaminbek Ahmadbek o‘g‘li. It examines the siege of Andijan, during which independence fighters placed the Red Army in a critical position, highlighting the broader resistance against Bolshevik consolidation of power. The study contextualizes these events within the framework of anti-colonial movements, armed resistance, and the ideological contestations following the October Revolution.
