Abstract

In the work of Alisher Navoi, the letter motif is embodied not only as a means of communication, but also as an artistic detail reflecting the inner experiences and trials of fate of the heroes. In the epic poem "Farhod and Shirin", letters become a symbol of love, hope and suffering and play an important role in the development of the plot. Farhod and Shirin convey not only words to each other, but also a heartfelt cry through letters. Letters influence the development of events and serve to reveal the mental state of the heroes. Navoi describes the letter not just as correspondence, but as a poetic expression of love and trials of fate. This article analyzes the role of the letter motif in the plot of the epic poem and its artistic interpretation.
