THE FORMATION OF NEOLOGISMS IN THE FRENCH LANGUAGE AS A RESULT OF NEW CONCEPTS SHAPED BY THE POLITICAL IDEAS OF FORMER FRENCH PRESIDENT NICOLAS SARKOZY

The article analyzes the linguistic phenomenon — the “Sarkozism” phenomenon — formed based on the speeches of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy. This phenomenon reflects the emergence of new neologisms through lexical errors and distinctive expressions in political discourse. In particular, units such as “Sarkozettes” (a term denoting female supporters) and “méprisance” (a word created from a lexical mistake) were developed in connection with Sarkozy’s personality and political style, and are actively used in political speech and mass media.
The study focuses on the formation process of these neologisms, their semantic and stylistic features, as well as revealing the place of the Sarkozism phenomenon within linguistic and sociolinguistic contexts.
