Abstract

This article highlights the stages of psychological development of preschool children and the significance of changes occurring during this period in personality formation. Based on the opinions of pedagogical and psychological scientists, the author analyzes the process of formation of speech, thinking, social relations, interests, and habits in preschool children. The article also discusses the influence of the pedagogical environment on the child's psychological development, the relevance of educational methods, and the role of the socialization process. According to the research results, psychological changes during this period are a decisive factor in preparing the child for future social life.
