Abstrak

In the article, the forms of metaphors and similes, which are rarely used in our language, but attract attention when used in the language of artistic works, were discussed in detail. Metaphors are warmly received by readers as they expand the consumption of the work. The lexicon and figurative expressions of the Uzbek language are so rich that the metaphorical forms presented in the story "Tazarru" by Istam Hamrayev proved it.
