This review summarizes the sensory and motor innervation of the skin of the human upper limb, including dermatomal distribution, peripheral nerve territories, cutaneous receptors, and clinical correlations. Emphasis is placed on the distributions of the radial, median, ulnar, musculocutaneous, and axillary nerves, diagnostic tests, neuropathies, and surgical/clinical implications.
