ISSUES OF TEACHING PHONETICS AT A TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY
Аннотация
This article discusses some issues of teaching phonetics in a non-linguistic
university. Some methods of teaching foreign language pronunciation are described. An
original non-traditional approach to explaining the articulation of English sounds based on a
comparison of the articulation of English and Russian sounds is considered. The article can be
used by both English teachers and those who study English on their own.
