This article analyzes the characteristics of Katherine Mansfield’s most significant works "Bliss and other stories" (1920), "The Dove's Nest and other stories" (1923), "The Garden Party and other stories" (1922), "Something Childish and other stories" (1924) in the context of the English short story of the late XIX - early XX century.
