Abstract

Taboos are invisible boundaries that define what is unacceptable, inappropriate, or forbidden within a society. These cultural boundaries play an   important role in shaping individual behavior, social interactions, and community values. Taboos vary greatly   from   culture   to   culture and are often deeply rooted in history, tradition, religion, and social norms.  Addressing taboos requires a nuanced understanding of cultural sensitivities and an awareness of the impact that breaking these boundaries has on relationships and social dynamics.
