Abstract

This article describes the concept of green economy and its importance for sustainable development. The strategy of transition to a green economy in the Republic of Uzbekistan, its main directions and implemented measures are analyzed. Priority tasks such as increasing energy efficiency in the country, developing renewable energy sources, adapting to climate change, and widely introducing environmentally safe technologies will also be discussed. It is emphasized that the green economy serves to reduce global threats and strengthen economic potential.
