Abstract

This article examines successful approaches for teaching English in classrooms that are multicultural and multilingual, focusing on the distinct challenges and opportunities that arise from such varied learning environments. It underscores the necessity of cultural awareness and inclusive teaching methods, investigating how educators can utilize students' different linguistic backgrounds to improve learning results. The research emphasizes practical strategies, including differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, and the use of culturally relevant resources, to create a dynamic and supportive classroom environment. Furthermore, it explores how technology can aid in language learning and enhance cross-cultural comprehension. The article wraps up by presenting suggestions for professional development and policy measures aimed at assisting teachers operating in multicultural and multilingual contexts.
