Abstrak

Effective communication is crucial in the medical field, where clear and accurate exchange of information can significantly impact patient outcomes. For non-native English-speaking medical students, learning English as a second language becomes imperative to ensure effective communication with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. This article explores the importance of teaching English to medical students and provides insights into effective strategies and resources that can enhance their English language proficiency in the healthcare setting. The key focus is on developing language skills in medical terminology, patient history-taking, and delivering patient-centered care. By equipping medical students with strong English language skills, educators can empower them to provide high-quality healthcare services to diverse patient populations.
