Abstrak

The rise of social media has transformed modern communication and significantly influenced language learning and teaching practices. In English language instruction, platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, and TikTok have become effective tools for engaging learners, promoting authentic language experiences, and fostering creativity. This article examines the integration of social media from the viewpoint of educators, discussing the opportunities it creates for enriching language teaching, along with the obstacles teachers may face. It concludes with practical advice for incorporating social media effectively in the English language classroom.
