Abstract

This thesis provides a scientific-theoretical analysis of the gender aspects of corruption. It highlights how corruption affects men and women differently, exacerbating gender inequality. Special attention is given to areas where women and girls are most vulnerable to corruption, the social consequences of corruption, and the importance of gender policy. The connection between women's participation in public administration and corruption levels is also analyzed.
