Abstract

Folk games and their associated tools serve as a window into the rich tapestry of human culture, revealing intricate connections between play, socialization, and the transmission of traditions. This article explores the concept of folk games, examining their historical context, cultural significance, and the diverse array of game tools utilized across different societies. By analyzing various folkloric practices and their implications on community bonding and childhood development, this paper aims to underscore the relevance of folk games in contemporary society and their potential role in fostering social cohesion. Methodologies including ethnographic studies and comparative analysis of regional practices are employed to illustrate the multifaceted nature of folk games.
