Abstract

This article explores the current state of gender equality in management, highlighting both the progress made and the challenges that remain. It examines key drivers such as changing social norms, corporate diversity initiatives, and educational advancements, while also addressing persistent barriers like stereotypes, work-life imbalance, and the gender pay gap. The article argues that achieving gender equality in leadership is essential not only for fairness but also for improving business performance. It concludes that sustained effort from all sectors of society is needed to overcome the structural and cultural obstacles that still exist.
