Ushbu maqolada ingliz tili darslarida “picture dictation” (rasmli diktant) usulidan foydalanish orqali eshitish va gapirish ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirish masalasi ko‘rib chiqiladi. Ushbu usulda bir o‘quvchi tasvirni ta’riflaydi, ikkinchisi esa uni chizadi. Mashg‘ulot o‘quvchilarning diqqat bilan tinglashini, lug‘at boyligini oshirishini va ta’riflash tilidan foydalanishni rivojlantiradi. Tadqiqotlar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, ushbu usul tinglab tushunish natijalarini yaxshilaydi hamda gapirishda ishonchni mustahkamlaydi. “Picture dictation” oddiy, arzon va katta sinflarda ham samarali usul hisoblanadi.
