Abstract

The article reviews the methods of examination and assessment of noise and vibration exposure in various working environments. It presents hygienic standards, physiological effects of noise and vibration on the human body, methods of instrumental measurements, and preventive measures to reduce their harmful influence. Special attention is given to the hygienic assessment of noise and vibration at workplaces and in residential areas.
