Modern English theoretical literary studies have undergone significant transformation, with numerous frameworks emerging to analyze literary texts through diverse perspectives. One of the foundational works that shaped modern literary theory is the concept of literary theory articulated by René Wellek and Austin Warren in their seminal book Theory of Literature. This aticle examines the modern principles of English literary studies, focusing on their evolution and the role of linguopoetic analysis.
