Drawing on recent studiesthe article highlights how GOs help students visualize, organize, and internalize information from texts. The article also addresses challenges such as visual literacy issues and the need for proper instruction, offering practical strategies for teachers to implement GOs effectively. Findings from various studies demonstrate significant improvements in reading comprehension scores when GOs are used, particularly in diverse and resource-limited educational settings.
