Language is more than a tool for communication — it is a mirror of the soul, a reflection of one’s identity, values, and upbringing. The way we speak, the words we choose, and the tone we use all contribute to the impression we leave on others. Speech etiquette, or the culture of speech, is the ability to communicate thoughtfully, respectfully, and in accordance with social norms. It is one of the most visible signs of a person’s level of education and cultural awareness.
