The article analyzes the anatomical structure of the stems of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous plants and highlights the differences in the arrangement of vascular tissues. Monocots lack cambium and secondary growth, with vascular bundles scattered irregularly. Dicots have cambium and the ability for secondary growth due to their organized vascular system.
