This work explores the anatomical structure of plant stems. The stem plays a key role in supporting the plant and transporting water and nutrients between the roots and leaves. It consists of several layers: the epidermis, cortex, and central cylinder, which includes xylem and phloem. The secondary structure of the stem, arising from the activity of cambium and phellogen, is also described. These structures provide mechanical support to the plant and facilitate its adaptation to the external environment.
