THE EFFECT OF HIGH TEMPERATURE AND WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE ONIONS STORAGE PROCESS
Keywords:
Natural weight loss, sprouting, high temperatures, growth rate of onion leaves, optimal temperature, temperature.Abstract
In this article, two different ontains of the temperature of 15, 25 and 35 ° C (Allium CEPA L.) - Spanish 313 and the Sumbala's 90-day storage storage period was studied. Both varieties were observed that the heads of onion heads at high temperatures compared to low temperatures. Speedsky 313 and brass varieties were 40.3% and 22.3%, respectively, and in 35 ° C. In both varieties, both the growth rate reached the maximum at 25°C and then decreased. With the increase in storage temperature and duration, the weight loss of onions was also found to increase.
