LEGAL ASPECTS OF SURROGACY: INTERNATIONAL PRACTICES AND REGULATORY PROSPECTS

This article examines the legal aspects of surrogacy in international practice, considering various regulatory models in different countries. The primary legal approaches—from a complete ban to detailed regulation—are discussed, along with key international initiatives aimed at legislative unification. The issues of cross-border surrogacy, recognition of parental rights, and protection of the rights of all parties involved are highlighted. The author proposes potential prospects for the harmonization of regulatory acts at the global level, taking into account modern challenges and trends.
