Keywords:
Morphology, knee joint, cruciate ligaments.Abstract
It is determined that one of the morphological aspects of the cruciate ligaments of the knee joint in the post-traumatic period is damage to the myofascicular membrane, the formation of coarse fibers in the form of fibrous tissue instead of collagen and elastic fibers in its composition, the presence of fibroblasts, macrophages and a small amount of lymphocytes. This is due to the development of chronic gonarthrosis in the knee joint and the appearance of variously formed connective tissue, which is improving the parameters of the cruciate ligaments. One of the main aspects is the foci of connective tissue located on the surfaces of the cut branches of the cruciate ligaments.
