Abstract

Work includes the results of surgical treatment of 112 patients with combined echinococcosis of the lungs and liver. The clinical material was divided into three groups: 36 (32.14%) patients in the first group (control) were operated through separate wide incisions. 34 (94.44%) patients were operated in staGES with an interval of 4-6 weeks, and in 2 (5.56%) patients, echinococcectomy from the lung and liver was performed simultaneously through separate sections; In 29 (25.89%) patients cysts were removed from the right lung and liver through a thoracophrenolaparotomy section at the same time; In the third group, 47 (41.97%) patients underwent staged removal of cysts from the lungs and liver. In 35 (74.47%) cases, echinococcectomy was performed using a video assistant through mini-incisions developed by us,  in 12 (25.53%) cases, mini-incisions were performed simultaneously in 7 patients through a separate mini-incision, 5 patients cysts were removed from the lungs and liver step by step with an interval of four weeks. The use of video-assisted operations helped to reduce early complications by two times.
