COMPLEX THERAPY FOR VERTEBROBASILAR INSUFFICIENCY AND ITS COMPLICATIONS

Main Article Content

Abstract:

This article reviews the causes, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and potential complications of vertebrobasilar insufficiency. A comprehensive understanding of these treatments is essential to minimize neurological deficits and improve long-term outcomes. Annotation. This article reviews the causes, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and potential complications of vertebrobasilar insufficiency. A comprehensive understanding of these treatments is essential to minimize neurological deficits and improve long-term outcomes. Vertebrobasilar insufficiency (VBI) is a condition caused by decreased blood flow in the vertebrobasilar arterial system, which supplies critical areas of the brain, including the brainstem, cerebellum, and occipital lobes. VBI often presents with transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) and can progress to more serious complications such as stroke if not treated properly.
