MODERN APPROACHES TO THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF BRONCHIOLITIS IN CHILDREN
Main Article Content
Abstract:
The article examines modern clinical approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of bronchiolitis in children based on relevant international guidelines and scientific publications. It is emphasized that the diagnosis of bronchiolitis should be made based on the clinical picture, without routine use of additional studies. The main focus is on supportive therapy, including oxygen supply, adequate hydration, and patient monitoring. The reasons for refusing the routine use of bronchodilators, steroids, and antibiotics, as well as promising areas of prevention, including the use of monoclonal antibodies and vaccination of mothers, are considered. The importance of an individual approach to children from the risk group and the need for further research to optimize disease management tactics are noted
