DIDACTIC AND COMMUNICATIVE FUNCTIONS OF TEACHER SPEECH IN THE FORMATION OF SPEECH COMPETENCE IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION LESSONS

This article analyzes didactically and communicatively the influence of teacher speech on the formation of students ' speech competence in the course of elementary education lessons. Speech competence is seen as a means for elementary students not only to develop the wealth of language, but also to freely participate in communication, to form skills for the clear and fluent expression of thought.
