This article is devoted to the issues of the factors of the pragmatic barrier in the study of Uzbek and English literary translation, the effect of the pragmatic barrier on translation, the prevention of the pragmatic barrier. The article also presents the problem of the pragmatic barrier in the literary translation of Uzbek and English and its solutions through examples.
