Currently, in modern linguistics, one of the priority areas of analysis of a literary text is poetic onomastics – the analysis of poetonyms, and it is studied in connection with literary studies, stylistics, poetry, semiotics, linguistics and other sciences of onomastics. In the linguistic and poetic analysis of a literary text, units that served a specific purpose of the writer are involved in the analysis. From this point of view, not all means in a literary text perform a poetic function.
