Hozirgi vaqtda zamonaviy tilshunoslikda badiiy matnni tahlil qilishning ustuvor yo‘nalishlaridan biri poetik onomastika – poetonimlarni tahlil qilishdir va u onomastikaning adabiyotshunoslik, stilistika, she’riyat, semiotika, tilshunoslik va boshqa fanlari bilan bog’liq holda o’rganiladi.
