INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION: A PIVOTAL ISSUE IN CONTEMPORARY LINGUISTICS

Аннотация:
This research paper investigates the dynamic relationship between linguistic structures and cultural frameworks within the paradigm of modern linguistics. In an era of unprecedented global integration, Intercultural Communication (IC) has evolved from a niche sociological interest into a core linguistic imperative. The study employs a mixed-methodological approach to analyze how "cultural coding" affects semantic decoding and pragmatic outcomes. By examining the "Pragmatic Gap" and the "Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis" in contemporary settings, the paper argues that communicative success is predicated more on intercultural intelligence than on mere grammatical accuracy.
