Parliamentary control is an integral part of the democratic management system and serves to ensure the legality and efficiency of the activities of state authorities. This control, first of all, implies the protection of the interests of the population through its representatives by establishing control over the executive branch of the parliament, which exercises legislative powers. This thesis analyzes the theoretical and legal foundations of parliamentary control, its main directions and main directions of development, as well as foreign experience in this area, and makes proposals to improve the effectiveness of parliamentary control.
