STUDY OF CARDIOMYOPATHY IN DIABETES MELLITUS ON 2nd STAGE

Main Article Content

Abstract:

Cardiomyopathy in diabetes mellitus (DM) is a complex disease characterized by structural and functional changes in the heart muscle. At the second stage of the disease, progressive changes are observed, including myocardial hypertrophy, fibrosis and energy metabolism disorders. This article discusses the mechanisms of cardiomyopathy development in DM stage 2, the effect of hyperglycemia, oxidative stress and inflammatory processes on the myocardium, as well as modern methods of diagnosis and treatment, including drug and non-drug approaches.
