Jismoniy faollik va Altsgeymer kasalligi o‘rtasidagi bog‘liqlikni o‘rganishga qaratilgan katta hajmdagi epidemiologik va eksperimental ma’lumotlar hozirda mavjud. Kuzatuv tadqiqotlari jismoniy faollik Altsgeymer kasalligi boshlanishini kechiktirishda muhim rol o‘ynashini ko‘rsatsa-da, randomizatsiyalangan nazoratli tadqiqotlar turlicha natijalarni qayd etgan. Bu esa ehtimol tadqiqot ishtirokchilarining xilma-xilligi, natijalarni baholash usullari va qo‘llanilgan jismoniy faollik dasturlarining farqlanishi bilan bog‘liq.
